Under the guidance of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sawa University of, the respected Dr. Mudhar Abdullah Al-Zalimi, and under the auspices of the respected President of the University, Professor Dr. Aqil Sarhan Muhammad, our university, in cooperation with the General Union of Writers in Muthanna, held a ceremony on the occasion of the issuance of the sixth issue of the "great Samawah journal" which is issued by the university in cooperation with a number of researchers and writers.
The celebration included the university’s speech by the Assistant of the University President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Turki Muften Saad, who praised the efforts made to show the journal in a way that befits the history of the city, its homes and prospects for its development.
Moreover, as for the speech of the President of the Union, Prof. Dr. Aziz Al-Musawi, he praised the efforts of the university in adopting the initiative to issue the magazine which sought to document the important pages of the history of the province, referring to the steps that seek to enhance the horizons of fruitful cooperation between the university and the union, and to create a literary and cultural atmosphere in service of the creative movement in the province.
An elite of the governorate’s innovators were also rewarded. After that, an elite of the governorate’s innovators were honored with the university’s shield for their active role in the heavenly society. They are the educator and sports pioneer, Mr. Ali Al-Khatib, the academic and critic, Mr. Aziz Al-Musawi, and the film director, Mr. Muhammad Wali Al-Bahr Al-Hasani.
