Dear faculty members, our students, and distinguished followers, I am pleased to welcome you through our college’s website, asking God Almighty that our college’s website will be a portal that enriches the academic and cognitive reality, and enhances the scientific sobriety that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Iraq is keen on, and maintain communication with you in the creative scientific and cognitive fields.
At the College of Health and Medical Technologies, we seek to build bridges of communication between the university as a solid scientific campus and society, especially in the medical aspect, as the outputs of our scientific and professional college represent an important and effective means of meeting the community’s need for specialized medical personnel that support health, research and educational institutions in our country. Moreover, we strive to invest the scientific skills and solid research figures of our faculty members and students in preliminary and even higher theoretical and applied scientific research and studies in the future, as well as training, awareness, and health and scientific mobilization within future foundations in line with modern developments through the learning of high technical and professional expertise and employ them scientifically and academically according to an integrated methodological perspective and an advanced scientific plan.
At the College of Health and Medical Technologies, we aspire for our scientific program to become a local, regional, and global model to be emulated in the field of education and scientific research. Also, we endeavor let our college become able to provide the highest quality standards in teaching, training, human development, and scientific research for college students. This will have positive impact on the community in our governorate and throughout the regions and our country.
Our college has charted a path for itself that keeps pace with global educational developments in the field of health and medical technologies, and has developed a curriculum consistent with international standards for the quality of laboratories and techniques used in teaching by establishing a modern infrastructure equipped with the latest laboratories, and classrooms equipped with the latest educational methods in which the professors use the modern programs. Modern in presentation to convey the scientific pieces of information.
The scientific and societal importance that falls on our college has prompted us to prepare a development program that supports scientific and research expertise, and to evaluate creative academic efforts that contribute to solve the problems that face the health institutions in our country. This is done by supporting teaching staff and the talents that our students possess in completing their research that is focused on solving community problems and providing health and medical institutions with new and distinctive scientific research ideas that are applicable and relevant to the health field.
on the other hand, our college seeks to keep pace with scientific developments, by holding scientific conferences, seminars, and training courses offered by the Center for Continuing Education, and all scientific activities, which, for their part, are considered means of exchanging knowledge and ideas between teaching staff, students, and researchers.
