The Department of Health Administration is one of the most important medical technical departments, as management is a specialty of their mother and necessary in the management of medical institutions, and relies heavily on modern technology in the management of human resources. Technology has led to more specialized and professional management through the development of administrative programs and the introduction of electronic management in all joints of organizations. Since there is an urgent need for specialists in health administration to engage in health institutions, and because this is related to human life and safety during the management of the human health resource and the art of dealing with patients and their families, there is a need to open the Department of Health Administration at the University of Sawa.
While we are delighted to open the Department of Health Administration, it is also a source of pride to be the head of this department. Therefore, we pledge our children and their families to do everything in our power to make the outputs of our department competent administrators to support the health sector in the province and other governorates. The university and the Faculty of Health and Medical Technologies, as well as the heads of departments, have been attracting qualified professors and providing all means to achieve the goals set for that.

The Department of Health Administration aspires to achieve the most efficient administrators in the field of health administration and we are committed to providing an integrated program that embodies patient-centered and family-centered care, academic and clinical excellence. Community support and integration by understanding the organizational behavior of employees as well as the behavior of patients and their families through direct and indirect interaction with different social groups. This department provides an opportunity for higher education in health management for the citizens of Samawa City and other cities.
Mission
In general, nations and society are measured according to health and health facilities. We must pay attention to the health sectors, and this is achieved through the presence of specialists in all medical branches, including the branch of health administration so that this situation ensures that people in society have good health through the management of the human health resource and all other health personnel.
Objectives
The department aims to provide administrative and psychological counselling halls to employees by qualifying the graduate to be familiar with the information and administrative skills that qualify him to obtain a bachelor's degree and practice his profession as a health administrator.
Must acquire the following sciences and skills:
1. Knowledge of administrative skills in general and focus on the management of health institutions in particular.
2. Know the different roles of administrators and managers and the art of management in general.
3. Knowing the rules of public health and acquiring vital and basic information, administratively, socially and behaviorally. It concerns all joints of management in the health institution.
4. Gain experience in dealing with emergencies and confront them with quick and correct treatments to develop urgent and effective solutions.
Description of the graduate's job:
One of the most important duties and tasks that a health administrator must perform towards patients while he is in the hospital are:
1. Ensure the availability of medical staff at the appropriate time and place.
2. Processing medicines and other medical devices.
3. Follow up on the patient's files, starting from his admission to the hospital until leaving, keep all the necessary information, and refer to it when needed.
4- Preserving the priorities of patients and health cadres in the institution and its management and for all administrative levels and various specialties.
