Sawa University has strengthened its international academic partnerships in Malaysia through an official delegation, represented by the faculty members Asst. Lect. Alaa Majeed Raheem and Asst. Lect. Sajjad Majid Jabbar. In this context, the university—led by Prof. Dr. Aqeel and attended by the Assistant for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Safaa Al-Janabi, and the Assistant for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Turki Al-Aridhi—signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), ranked 128th globally according to the QS World University Rankings. The Memorandum of Understanding aims to open new avenues for academic and scientific cooperation and to enhance institutional partnerships in areas such as scientific research, joint initiatives, and the organization of conferences, seminars, and workshops—particularly within the humanities and social sciences. This strategic move aligns with the university's vision of engaging with distinguished international experiences, fostering scientific and cultural exchange, and connecting its students and academics to a global network of leading educational institutions to support its research endeavors.
