First: Vision
Leadership and excellence in teaching Arabic language and literature, and preparing qualified educational and academic professionals who possess scientific competence and linguistic and educational skills, contribute to serving society, preserving Arab identity, and enhancing the presence of the Arabic language in the fields of knowledge and development.

The Department of Arabic Language seeks to provide high-quality university education in Arabic language sciences and literature, and to prepare teachers and researchers who possess scientific knowledge and linguistic, educational, and research skills through a stimulating educational environment, the use of modern technologies, the encouragement of scientific research and creativity, and the integration of academic knowledge with the needs of society and the requirements of sustainable development.

First: Introduction
Based on the Department of Arabic Language at the College of Education – Sawa University’s commitment to achieving academic quality and enhancing the level of education, scientific research, and community service, this strategic plan has been prepared for the period 2026–2030. The plan aims to identify the Department’s future priorities and objectives and establish the programs and activities necessary to achieve them in accordance with the orientations of the University and College, labor market requirements, and community needs.
The plan seeks to build an academic environment that supports students and faculty members, promote scientific research, develop curricula and educational programs, employ modern technologies in teaching Arabic, as well as strengthen the Department’s role in community service and preserve the integrity of the Arabic language.
