The Dean's Speech
The Faculty of Law is among the faculties of the same department, and after studying there for a period of four years, the student is awarded a Bachelor’s degree in Law. The study includes teaching the subjects of the Public Law branch, as the student learns the basic principles of the provisions of the Constitution and its contents, and the study of all matters related to crimes, their divisions, and how to investigate, charge and conviction according to the rules of criminal trials. Moreover, the students study all the principles of administrative law, including the provisions of the public office, such as the rights and duties of the employees. The study also includes knowledge of the rules of public and humanitarian international law, as well as tax legislation. The students are taught the components of the legal base, the provisions of Sharia and personal status such as inheritance, the study of the sources and provisions of commitment and an aspect related to contracts, pleadings, proof, real rights and implementation as well as the study of commercial law and companies. As for the outputs of the labor market, the graduate can work in the public sector through employment in one of the institutions The state, belonging to the bar association, or working in the field of the private sector, such as companies and others. In fact, a graduate from the Faculty of Law can apply for postgraduate studies (Master and PhD. degrees) by choosing the field of specialization in the public branch or the private one, according to his/her desire.
