Department of Quran Sciences

Vision:

This department takes care of the Quranic studies and how to spread them in society to be an academic and customary reference in order to establish knowledge resources drawn from the inexhaustible sea of the Holy Quran, its infinite essence, and its immeasurable miracle.

Objectives:

1- Preparing an educational class who is going to be aware of the Islamic Quranic culture, with the responsibility of building a specialized generation with the necessary strong knowledge.

2- Preparing a generation who is going to be aware of the cognitive dimensions of the Holy Quran, following its words and rules, and working to create a mature generation who is aware of the Quranic sciences and knowledge.

3- Supplying intermediate and high schools with teachers of the Islamic Education who are able to have a constructive spiritual influence on students.

4- Preserving the holiness of the Holy Quran and defending it in a scientific and an academic style.

5- Achieving scientific excellence and creativity in all areas of the Quranic research and that should be based on the development of love for knowledge, and learning more from sciences and familiarity with modern approaches to learning and teaching.

6- Linking students to the scientific and cultural heritage brought by Islam and its sources which are drawn from the Holy Quran, and taking benefit from it in preserving society and its dignity.
