About the College of Law
The College of Law / Sawah University was established in 2020, as the main purpose of establishing this college was to spread the legal culture in society and to ensure the preparation of legal graduates and the preparation of lawyers who undertake the achievement of justice in society and interest in achieving scientific sobriety and ethics of public office within legal studies and qualifying the graduate to carry the legal message.
Vision
The Department of Law seeks to occupy a distinguished position among the departments of faculties of law at the local and regional levels, and works to gain everyone's trust by providing a stable environment for education, scientific research and community service, as well as enriching students with in-depth knowledge of legislation to be able to deal with the system strongly and organize in all over the country and abroad.
Goals
1. Preparing the appropriate scientific climate for creativity in the various branches of legal sciences, through the adoption of advanced academic methods and programs, in a way that contributes to the graduation of qualified and trained staff to practice legal and Sharia work and to be aware of the latest developments in the field of law.
2. Providing graduates, through continuing education, with the skills to gain scientific experience that enables them to invest in legal knowledge, relying on their immediate efforts and creating the basic capabilities that enable them to keep abreast of legal developments and developments.
3. Contributing effectively to spreading and developing levels of legal culture in society through lectures and seminars for specialists in the field of law for various state departments and governmental and non-governmental institutions.
4. Providing legal and specialized advice, such as explaining laws and expressing legal opinions on judicial decisions and rulings, and providing advice and legal information to those who wish to obtain justice and reveal the truth,
5. Encouraging students to carry out scientific research in all areas of legal specialization by writing and publishing scientific research.
6. Preparing legal specialists and creative lawyers who work in the courts immediately after their graduation without the need to issue an appointment order for them.
The Scientific Laboratories in The College of Law Are as Follows:
- Computer Applications Lab
- Media Lab (a newly established lab for teachers to keep pace with emerging conditions to facilitate the recording of electronic lectures for professors).
College Admission System
Admission to the preliminary studies of the Faculty of Law takes place through the application forms designated for this purpose. Graduates of the preparatory studies are accepted in its biological, applied and literary branches, and the study is for a period of four years.
