The Rehabilitation Center for Drug Addicts and Abusers hostes the student warrior Ayman Saud Al-Jiyashi


 

The rehabilitation center for drug addicts and abusers in the governorate hosted the student of the English Department at the College of Education at our university, the warrior Ayman Saud Al-Jiyashi.
During the hosting held by the center in cooperation with the Deanship of the College of Education, the Student Activities Department, and the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Division at our university, Al-Jiashi spoke about his life story, how he faced cancer, and the health problems it caused him that led to sacrifice part of one of his legs. Instead of surrendering to it, and resorting to take painkillers, drugs, and psychotropic substances, under the pretext of alleviating his suffering from the pain of the disease, and from the bullying situations that he might be exposed to from others, he faced the disease with all courage, so he completed his preparatory studies and passed its ministerial exams successfully, and joined university studies as a student at the English Department at Sawa University. He is now a student in the second stage. Moreover, he was keen to persevere and be disciplined in his studies, and to participate effectively in humanitarian activities and events to serve others, including joining the "Azouti" team for volunteers to contribute of treating those with kidney diseases. Al-Jiashi answered all the questions at the end of the hosting, which was attended by the qualified patients in the central hospital, and was managed by the University Council member, Director of the Psychological and Educational Counseling Department, Prof. Dr. Ghanim Najeeb Abbas.
