In light of the directives of the Chairman of the Board of Directors Dr. Mudher Abdullah Abdulaali, and the University President Prof. Dr. Aqeel Sarhan Muhammad, the English Department in the College of Education at our university, in cooperation with the Divisions of Media and Public Relations, and Psychological and Educational Guidance, held a celebration rewarding the pioneering artist and film director Hadi Mahood at ten o’clock in the morning on Saturday 16/3/2024, in the Conference Hall. The following figures participated:
1. Asst. Prof. Dr. Nada Sami Nassir - Chairman.
2. Artist Hadi Mahood - First lecturer.
3. Prof. Dr. Ghanim Najeeb Abbas - Second lecturer.
4. Artist Abdulfadhil Mahood - Rapporteur.
At the end of the celebration, an exhibition of photographic posters was held that documented important stations in the artist’s history and his creative achievement. This celebration was held in implementation of the broad and intensive curriculum prepared by our university to reward the governorate’s creators and to strengthen its relations with the community.
