In implementation of the curriculum prepared by the College of Engineering Technology at our university, the Department of Medical Physics and Radiotherapy, in cooperation with the Student Activities Department, and the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Division, held a scientific workshop entitled (The Importance Of Early Screening for Cancerous Diseases That Affect Women), at exactly 10:30 am on Saturday, 1/3/2025, in which the following professors participated:

1- Lect. Atallah Bani Hamood - Chairman.

2- Asst. Lect. Mukhtar Zuhair Naji - Lecturer.

3- Asst. Lect. Raghda Shihab Ahmed - Rapporteur.

The workshop emphasized the importance of early screening for cancerous diseases that affect women whom have not yet shown symptoms of the disease. The goal is to reduce the death rate and diseases resulting from this disease, and it is a necessary and very important step to screen women at risk of developing it, or who are worried about it.
