In implementation of the curriculum prepared by the College of Health and Medical Technologies, the Department of Anesthesia, in cooperation with the Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance, held a scientific symposium entitled (Anemia: Its Types, Symptoms and Treatment), at exactly nine thirty in the morning on Tuesday, 7/5/ 2024, when the following professors participated:
1- Asst. Lect. Kadhim Raheem Alwan - Chairman.
2- Asst. Lect. Shakir Kadhim Dhahir - Lecturer.
3- Lect. Dr. Asaad Mohan Muhammed - Rapporteur.
The symposium tackled anemia which affects the individual due to a lack of iron in the human body. Its symptoms include fatigue, weakness, shortness of breath, paleness or yellowing of the skin. This causes problems in the heart, during pregnancy and in growth. The patient is treated by eating food which is rich in iron.
