Department of Maintenance and Services

The Maintenance and Services Division is one of the vital departments at universities, as it is concerned with maintaining and securing all university buildings and facilities, providing the basic and operational services required for the safety and ease of movement on campus. Its aims include:

1.     Providing a safe and healthy university environment for students and staff.

2.     Maintaining and improving university buildings and facilities on a regular basis.

3.     Providing basic and operational services required to ensure the educational and research process at the university.

4.     Achieving the best use of the material and human resources available at the university.

 

Department of Stores

The Stores Department at the university is responsible for storing and distributing various materials and supplies which are required in work on campus, these are imported either from abroad or locally. This department aims to:

1)     Provide the supplies required in work at the university at reasonable prices and high quality.

2)     Make the best use of stocks and provide them to users at the appropriate time.

3)     Reduce costs and ensure that the required supplies are provided in appropriate quantities to reduce additional costs.

 

Department of Communications:

This department works to provide and improve the means of communication and communication necessary for the university and its employees through the development and maintenance of systems, networks and services necessary to achieve this goal. The department seeks to provide an advanced, reliable and secure communication environment that helps improve the educational and administrative processes at the university.

Department of Civil Defence:

The Civil Defence Department is considered one of the vital and important departments at universities because it works to protect human life and property from fires, disasters, and emergencies. This department works on developing the necessary plans to face potential risks and ensures the readiness of the facilities, buildings and equipment needed to fight fires and disasters.
