Under the auspices of the respected Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Mudhar Abdullah Al-Zalimi, and the guidance of the respected President of the University, Prof. Dr. Aqeel Sarhan Muhammad, the Department of Arabic Language at the College of Education held a symposium on (Arabic language in social media), on Tuesday 16/5/2023. Assistant Lecturer Karrar Ibrahim Issa lectured, and it was moderated by Assistant Lecturer Hamed Jefat Thajeel, and the lecturer emphasized:
)The importance of language and its role in communication between members of society, and that the means of communication provided by modern technology contributed to reducing distances and bringing nations together through the many means that allowed everyone to express ideas and points of view despite the distances, and he indicated the reasons for the failure of Writing in classical Arabic, and developing appropriate solutions to reduce spelling errors.
