Under the auspices of the respected Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Mudhar Abdullah Al-Zalimi, and the guidance of the President of the University, Professor Dr. Aqeel Sarhan Muhammad, the College of Education and the Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance at our university, in cooperation with Al-Muthanna University, held a scientific symposium on (Modern teaching methods, their objectives and the bases adopted in their selection ). At twelve o’clock on Monday 15/05/2023, a lecture was given by Prof. Dr. Karim Abbas Halil from Al-Muthanna University and it was moderated by Assistant Lecturer Janan Shihab Hamed – The professor of Teaching Methods at our university.
The lecturer stressed that one of the most important factors for the teacher’s success in delivering his information is that the teacher chooses the teaching method that suits the objectives of the subject to be taught. Developing the students’ linguistic and literary taste requires a method of discussion and dialogue, as well as the use of e-learning, which is a method of teaching using modern technology. Such as the computer, the Internet, and multimedia, as all or one of them are used to deliver information to students with the least possible time, effort, and cost, whether remotely or in the classroom.
