An intellectual symposium on (History of the term 'Hadith' in Islamic schools)
Under the guidance of the respected Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Mudhar Abdullah Al-Zalimi, and under the auspices of the respected President of the University, Prof. Dr. Aqeel Sarhan Muhammad, and in implementation of the curriculum prepared by the Deanship of the College of Education, a scientific symposium was held on (History of the term Hadith among Islamic sects), in which Dr. Qutayba Adnan Shaker lectured. It was moderated by the assistant teacher, Karrar Ibrahim Issa, who stressed the importance of the Prophet’s Sunnah in Islamic law, the importance of studying the term hadith, and the impact of this science in clarifying the acceptable from the hadith from the rejected one. The researcher stated the history of the term hadith among the public and the Imamiya, and the origin and development of this science in these Islamic schools.
