     Sawa University is honored to announce the start of offering scholarships by courses and by research for brothers and friends from for the Arabic and foreign countries to obtain excellent academic degrees in preliminary studies, as well as funding Arab and foreign researchers who wish to conduct scientific or field research in Iraq or an Iraqi educational institution. These grants come within the framework of the "Study in Iraq" program, which the Ministry of Higher Education is working on implementing and making it successful and useful within the decisions of the government program, which aims to raise the international classification of Iraqi universities and raise their levels to the ranks of their counterparts in the Arab region and the world. Therefore, our university invites all students and researchers who wish to benefit from these grants to apply through the official website of the program.

Grant terms

1.    Academic documents certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the student’s country and the Iraqi embassy or Cultural Attaché  in that country.

2.    The safety of the security and health situation of the student.

3.    A valid passport for the student.

4.    The age of the student should not exceed 24 years.

5.    A written undertaking by which the student will abide the Iraqi laws and regulations.

6.    The scholarship is free for the student and this is limited to the academic fees.
