University President Receives Delegation from the Ministry of Migration and Displacement
In order to enhance the principle of cooperation between our university, official institutions and civil society, the university president, Prof. Dr. Aqeel Sarhan Muhammad Al-Ghazi, received a delegation from the Ministry of Migration and Displacement, which visited the university within the framework of the comprehensive national plan to reduce illegal immigration, in order to hold awareness seminars for our students on the dangers of illegal immigration, the legal consequences it faces, and ways to address it. The delegation included (Eng. Maan Asoud Abdul - from the Department of Migration Affairs at the Ministry of Migration and Displacement, Legal Advisor Ghazwane Talib Hussein from the Minister's Office, and Ms. Nour Hussein Abdul Ameer, Head of the Liaison and Communication Division at the Department of Migration Affairs at the Ministry), in addition to the Director of the Ministry's Office in the Governorate, Mr. Ali Abdul Kadhim, and representatives of civil society organizations in the Governorate, and Mr. Ghanim Najeeb Abbas, a member of the University Council, Head of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Division.
