In light of the directives of the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Mudher Abdullah Abdulaali, and the President of the University Prof. Dr. Aqeel Sarhan Muhammad, and in implementation of the curriculum prepared by the College of Education, the Department of Qur’anic Sciences and Islamic Education, in cooperation with the Department of Psychological and Educational Counseling at our university, held a scientific symposium entitled (Introductions to the Practical Mind) at exactly twelve and thirty on Tuesday 16/1/2024, the following figures participated in:
1. Asst. Prof. Dr. Jawad Al-Ward - Chairman.
2. Asst. Prof. Dr. Muslim Shakir - Lecturer.
3. Asst. Lect. Karrar Ibrahim - Rapporteur
The symposium explained the meaning of the practical mind, the theoretical mind and the levels of each. It showed that the theoretical mind is represented by natural, mathematical and divine wisdom, and all of this is an introduction to the practical mind represented by refining morals at the level of the individual, family and society, as it is the goal of achieving eternal happiness. This is attested by the words of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his progeny, "I was sent to perfect good moral character."
