Under the patronage of the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Mudher Abdullah Abdulaali, and the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Aqeel Sarhan Muhammad, the College of Engineering Technology, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Division at our university, held a workshop for its scientific departments entitled (The Bologna Process and its Application Mechanism), at twelve o’clock on Wednesday 17/ 1/2024, where the following participated in:
1. Asst. Lect. Nour Naeem Abd – Chairman
2. Engineer Muhammad Aqeel Daoud - Lecturer.
3. Asst. Lect. Haider Abdul Razzaq Jassim - Rapporteur.
The workshop tackled the mechanism of work and application of the Bologna Process, according to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, as it is an aspect that motivates teaching staff to develop their skills to keep pace with the evolving global educational path, and leads students to become familiar with and practice the university educational system.
It can be noticed the Bologna path for university education was approved for the first time in 1999, and was initially applied in 29 European countries in order to advance the higher education system, to contribute for the sake of achieving educational development, and to facilitate the process of exchanging students, professors and researchers between universities in the 49 countries which are contributing to it.
