Under the patronage of the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Mudher Abdullah Abdulaali, and the guidance of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Aqeel Sarhan Muhammad, and on the occasion of World Diabetes Day and the 100th anniversary of the discovery of Insulin, the Department of Medical Laboratories at the College of Health and Medical Technologies held a scientific symposium entitled (Insulin Functions), where the symposium covers the following topics:
- Knowing the other functions of insulin and its role in regulating blood sugar
- Ways to regulate blood sugar
- Ways to prevent high blood sugar
-The role of exercise in the process of regulating blood sugar
- The role of treatments and their mechanism in regulating blood sugar.
