The Department of Legal Affairs at universities is one of the vital departments that contributes to protect the rights of the university, students and employees. It also provides the necessary legal support to achieve the university's mission and goals.

The vision of the Legal Affairs Department is to provide the necessary legal support to the university, ensure compliance with local and international laws and regulations, and protect the rights of the university, students and staff.

The mission of the Legal Affairs Department is to provide the necessary legal support to the university and to maintain the integrity of legal processes, by providing legal advice and assistance in preparing legal documents and dealing with legal cases.

The Division of Law in the Department of Legal Affairs at universities aims to achieve several goals, including:

1.    Protecting the rights of the university, students and employees.

2.    Ensuring compliance with local and international laws and regulations.

3.    Providing the necessary legal support to the university in various legal matters.

4.    Improving the legal processes at the university and providing a suitable work environment for university employees.

5.    Developing the university's legal management system to meet the requirements of quality and academic excellence.

In addition, the Litigation Division of the Legal Affairs Department at universities aims to provide a legal support to the university in legal issues that the university is exposed to, by providing advice.

As for the Contracts and Guarantees Department, it aims to achieve several goals:

1)    Preparing contracts correctly in accordance with the local and international laws and regulations at the university.

2)    Ensuring the validity of the terms and conditions related to contracts and providing the necessary legal protection for the university.

3)    Determining the responsibilities of the two parties related to the contract and ensure that each of them adheres to them.

4)    Work on developing contract management procedures at the university and ensure that they are applied correctly.

5)    Determining the standards and conditions of guarantees and insurances necessary to achieve the safety of financial and commercial processes at the university.

6)    Providing the necessary support to the university in matters of contracts, guarantees and insurances, and working to resolve disputes related to these issues.

7)    Defining standards of quality and efficiency in contract and guarantee processes at the university.

It can be said that the importance of the Contracts and Guarantees Department at universities comes from the need to provide an appropriate and safe work environment by defining and applying quality and safety standards in contract and guarantee processes and ensuring that the rights of the university and the other party to the contract are protected. The Division of Contracts and Guarantees also assists to improve the university's financial and commercial processes and enhancing its reputation and position in society.
