The Department of Administrative and Financial Affairs is one of the vital departments at university, as these affairs are concerned with the administrative and financial aspects of the university and manage many activities and services that contribute to achieve the vision, mission and goals set for the university. The department consists of several sub-departments specialized in different fields, including:

1- Administrative Division: This division manages the administrative side of the university, as it organizes various administrative activities and operations, and provides support services for the university, students, and staff.

2- Teachers' Affairs Division: This division is concerned with supervising the affairs of professors, lecturers, and teaching assistants, providing them with the necessary support. It also organizes the process of appointment, promotion, and obtains educational qualification and continuing training.

3- Employees' Affairs Division: This division manages the employees' affairs at the university, organizing the employment and promotion processes. It also obtains educational qualification and continuing training, and provides the necessary support for them.

4- Postal Division: This division is concerned with providing internal and external postal services for the university, and managing mail registration, delivery and receipt processes.

As for the Finance Division, the Budget Division, the Records Division, the Salaries Division, and the Fund, they are parts of the main departments at universities that are concerned with managing the financial aspects, budget, accounts, salaries, and the fund. Their vision, mission and goals are as follows:

 

Their vision: The vision of these departments is to improve the financial performance of the university by developing methods of financial and accounting management and improving systems and procedures related to the budget, accounts, salaries and fund.

 

Their mission: The mission of these departments is to provide professional and effective financial services in accordance with approved international standards for managing the budget, accounts, salaries and fund, and to provide a stimulating and supportive work environment for continuing improvement in all financial aspects.

Their aims: The aims of these departments are to implement the financial and accounting policies of the university in order to organize the financial and accounting processes accurately and effectively. They also ensure the provision of the necessary funds to achieve the goals of the university to support the scientific research and educational projects. They improve the budget system to provide the necessary funds to achieve the university's goals and also aim ro develop the skills and competence of the staff in the fields of accounts and finance.

In general, these departments are vital to the success of the university, as they play an important role in ensuring financial sustainability and ensuring that the necessary resources are provided to achieve academic and research goals.
